In 2022, guided by more than fifty years of cultivated experience, we fulfilled a quiet aspiration: a journey to Costa Rica shared with the next generation.
We perceived it.
We recognised its value.
We committed to it.
Our first encounter occurred during the creation of www.mansion-maeli.com.
In that moment, time receded—leaving only respect and beauty.
From this encounter emerged a singular vision: to work with Guanacaste tropical timber, the national tree of Costa Rica.

Like my grandmother Maruja, who lived to the age of 104 and passed away in 2021.

The Guanacaste tree is the national symbol of Costa Rica – an emblem of permanence, protection, and life. With its imposing crown, it provides shade where the sun shines strongest and offers habitat for animals, insects, and plants.
